My Mind is going to Blast Due to behavior of GSM companies. This is the time when there is a wave of tension all over the country. So, all the Cell Phone users are requested to check their data about the allotment of Sims on their names.
The Procedure could be done as:
- Go to write Message Option
- Enter Your CNIC Card number (With out Dashes "-" )
- Send this message to 668
A reply message would be sent to you, which will contain the over-all information of all the Sims, alloted by your name from any cellular company.
But when I followed the same procedure, reply came to me. But the content of that reply was Shocking to me. There was a total of 27 sims on my name.
Now come behind the screen; the present companies are in competition between each other, they are offering many packages for the users. And the Young Generation of Pakistan is very happy for the packages and regularly using many sims at a time to avail each and every package.
It's now; not an amazing thing that, if you find any student on back benches and busy with its cell phone, even during the lecture time. You can easily find any of them doing messages or even talking to someone.
So, when the time comes for the registration of the sims. The companies are strictly bound to alot each and every sim after receiving a copy of CNIC. As a CNIC contains a lot of data, so the Bloody computer operators don't enter the whole data in the computer.
I know that we a responsible citizens and we submit the copies of our NIC, But due to over-Burden of work on the computer operators and Sim Registrars, they don't like to fill all the required fields again and again.
Now by the Bad Luck, You submitted your NIC card, they entered all the required data needed. Think a new customer comes and asks for the Sim, they ask for the Copy of NIC. Now if he dont have the Copy, he is asked to bring it later. He receives the Sim, and moves away with a promise to come tomorrow. Here the computer operator enters his number in the computer and clicks on next, with the data which was entered by him for your registration.
So, an unknown sim gets registered to you....
An-other thing which can happen is that the customer provides the required data but the Computer Operator don't like to fill all the required fields again and again and thus clicks on save, with the data which was enteres earlier.
So, again an unknown number gets its registration with your name....
But Now when all of Us know that there are a lot of Sims working, with your name. Each and Every-one of Us gets conscious.
You talk to the Customer Service Center, and they ask you to visit a nearest Customer Care Office...
You move to the nearest customer care center and then a new shocking information awaits you there.
They'll say that,
"SORRY, WE ARE UNABLE TO CONNECT TO THE NETWORK, RIGHT NOW; PLEASE COME BACK TOMORROW"
or
"THE SERVICE FOR WHICH YOU ARE ASKING IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE BRANCH OFFICE; PLEASE CONTACT WITH ANY OTHER OUR OUTLET"
or
"THE ATTENDANT OF THIS ISSUE IS ON LEAVE TODAY; PLEASE COME LATER"
And a general customer, who is much tired of being engaged in the activities to earn money. He has to work hard for even a single bread for his child. A single visit to Customer Care Office can put the fire off in his home. 14 crore of 17 crore Pakistanis I think cant bear Ten Ten visits to these offices.
Alas!!! At last, a Poor Customer Gives Up... and when a cell phone is being used in a terrorism, the cell number gets its identity attached to a poor person. So, an innocent citizen gets behind lockers and the criminals continue their activities....
Think.... Who should be responsible????
